ROTARY CLUB OF BANGKOK BENJASIRI
On Friday of early September 1993, a group of businessmen from all walk of life had a lunch meeting at Imperial Queen's Park Hotel to discuss about the founding of a new Rotary Club on the occasion of 10th anniversary of Rotary Club of Bangrak. PP Sitthichoke Sricharoen was the Representative of PDG Krit Indhewat and PP Narong Junjuasuparurk was Club President of Rotary Club of Bangrak, RI 3350.
On October 14, 1993, the official name was provisionally called Rotary Club of Bangkok Benjasiri by using the Imperial Queen's Park Hotel as a weekly luncheon meeting on every Friday by having CP Prapansak Bhatayananda as Charter President.
The name of the Club was according to the nearby park which has been honourably named by our HM Queen Sirikit as Benjasiri Park.
Our most pleasant day was on 01 December, 1993 which the official installation certificate was given by Rotary International. It was the offical Rotary Club number 30470 under RI district 3350 and Rotary Club of Bangrak was our Sister Club.
We have had our offical celebration on 14 February, 1994 as a new Rotary Club in Thailand, RI District 3350 of Rotary International.
At this time being, we have 3 overseas Sister Clubs and 2 Interact Clubs under our patronage as follows:-

2. Interact Club of Bangkok community, Bangkok RI Distrct 3350
We have 4 annual projects (as well as other call on project) as follows:-
1. Eye sight care for school children.
2. Drinking water project support for hill tribe people in northern Thailand.
3. Learning assistance project for school children in Chiangrai, northern Thailand.
4. Polio Plus project with Rotary Thailand, Ministry of Public Health and Municipality of Bangkok on every December and January.
